Tips for Clients from Web Professionals

I'm assembling a tip sheet with information for helping potential clients make sure they are well prepared for the web design/development process.

So, what's your tip? What would you want to tell a potential client beforehand to help them prepare and to help you stay sane?

I'm looking for something short, probably about a paragraph or two each.
